In 2021 the world’s first Fish Doorbell was launched in Utrecht. This fish doorbell helps fish pass a many centuries old manually operated boatlock in the centre of the city Utrecht in The Netherlands. When fish swim in front of a underwater camera in the boat lock, citizens of Utrecht can push the bell for them! And the boatlock manager will open the doors.
In 2022 we continued the Fish Doorbell and on the 21st of May the results will be presented and the volunteers pushing the fish doorbell will be thanked by a well known radio DJ of the Netherlands!
