We Are Westfield River People
The Nature Conservancy and the Wild & Scenic Westfield River Committee will offer three Nuno Felting Workshops, taught by fabric Artist/designer Marjolaine Arsenault, to celebrate World Fish Migration Day. The three separate all day workshops will be held on Feb 28th / March 28th and April 25th One on each of the three branches of the Westfield River to include all of our Hill town small communities. The Westfield River is Massachusetts first designated “Wild & Scenic River ” https://westfieldriverwildscenic.org/.
We will then host a showing of the art shall’s created over the three days and upload images for the Art Show being held by world fish migration.
The participants must be over 18 and live or work in one of the ten towns with Wild & Scenic designation. The art show to be held at the Becket Art Center in May to coinside with May 23rd and hung along the East Branch Trail will be open to all.
Our goal is to have the skills acquired ripple within our communities for many years.
