African Rivers

African Rivers a not for profit international nongovernmental organization (www.african-rivers.org or Facebook: African Rivers) intend to host an event around the Barotse Floodplains along the Zambezi river which is the fourth longest river in Africa. We intend to conduct sensitisation activities on river conservation initiatives and climate change adaptation approaches for the local river communities. African Rivers aims to protect the health of rivers and environmental including supporting the local communities to build climate resilience for sustainable development.
