The Rosario aquarium is an institution for the generation of scientific knowledge and an educational tool for the pedagogical dissemination of Paraná’s biodiversity and awareness of the preservation of the aquatic environment, disseminating and at the same time studying the species that inhabit the wetlands of the middle Paraná River and the delta, especially its ichthyofauna.
