Corrida da migração (Migration run)
The migration run will consist of a 5 km race for adults and 500 meters for children. Before the race begins, competitors will be invited to attend a lecture on the importance of conserving Brazilian migratory species. The races for both adults and children will start shortly after. For the adults, after the race, all competitors will be required to complete a questionnaire with questions about the topics covered in the previous lecture. Incorrect answers will result in a time penalty in the race, potentially affecting the final standings. As for the children, the race will feature obstacles to migration, including simulations of small dams and gillnets. All participating children will receive prizes.
