Riparian corridor walk with Collem, Tisc and Usgao panchayat/ community libraries, in collaboration with Bookworm Trust Goa, Earth Matters Foundation and Foundation for Rivers and Ecosystems.

NHOI (River)- the Goa River Draw Project an initiative driven by Bookworm Trust, Goa, and their network of libraries engaged with communities in the Mhadei/ Mandovi River landscape in documenting oral histories and perspectives of the river linked to traditional knowledge. Traditional knowledge, oral histories and the status of the river were documented and mapped through group based, participatory artwork and other visual representation. (https://www.bookwormgoa.in/collective/nhoi-the-goa-river-draw/). To build on and delve deeper into the participatory mapping exercise for the river, walks have been planned with communities from Mhadei River’s tributary, Dudhsagar- Khandepar River to document riparian flora followed by a book making and eco- printing activity to highlight riverine flora diversity, which sustain river ecosystems, biodiversity and communities. The walks planned also include River Monitoring with the use of an open access, citizens platform called Our River, Our Life (http://www.ourriverourlife.com/) and documenting local knowledge of migratory native riverine fish species. The activities planned have people from all walks of life from three communities interacting with artists, botanists, naturalists, researchers and educators.
