OELO (Organisation Ecotouristique du Lac Oguemoué) is organising a river clean up in the town of Lambaréné, Gabon. It will provide local nature clubs with tools to clean a section of the Ogooué riverbank. At the same time, club members will engage with local residents and raise awareness of the importance of keeping their river clean and healthy. The event will finish at the local high school overlooking the river, where a new mural depicting the local water system will be revealed.
