The 16th Annual Science Symposium will take place as a virtual symposium. This one-day meeting will provide researchers a chance to share the results of their projects related to the Emiquon Restoration, and other prairie, river, and floodplain systems. This year the Symposium will focus on ways that science guides management.
When: March 30, 2022. The “doors” will open at 8:30 am (note, this is earlier than past years). The official schedule and more details will be released as the meeting approaches.
Presentations: Oral Presentations will consist of a 15 minute talk, with 5 minutes for questions. Presentations will be pre-recorded with a live Question and Answer session.
Registration: Registration is now open. While there is no charge for attending the Symposium, accurate estimates help us with planning, so please register if you plan to attend.
Field Trip: Planning is currently underway for a tour of the Emiquon Preserve to occur in late-May or early-June. Space is anticipated to be limited. Priority will be given to those that attend the Symposium in March.
